SATs

From the 8th to the 11th of May, SATs 'week' took place for the year 2 and 6 pupils. During this time, numerous tests were issued on subjects like: maths, reading, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

'SATs' means 'Standard Assessment Tasks' and they are issued by the government to check the levels of pupils at the end of KS1 (key stage 1) and KS2 (key stage 2).

Red Rose had prepared for these tests since the start of the year and everything in them is linked to what children are supposed to have learned throughout school.
