Art

I like art because you can express how you feel and what has happened to you in life like a book chapter or just the full book. Art can come in many forms, e.g. anger, sadness, envy, anxiety, happiness/excitement.

Even if art is beautiful or not people will always put their opinions or pressure on the artist or art itself (like making rude or nice comments on the art/drawing) and it ruins the joy of drawing and painting because some people won't like it and exaggerate about how much they ‘hate’ it and it makes the artist feel guilty in a way like they’re not good at drawing and they need to change the way they draw.

But some artists take it as encouragement, which is great for them since giving up is the bad and ugly part, and it can also change the way people see art think of a cloud , some people will see it as a heart and some will see it as a broken heart because art can change some people like the morals of things.

Morals are really important because it shows people how they feel inside but not on the outside.

All about horses.

 Introduction:

In this blog you will read facts, information on equestrian equipment and yard rules about working with and riding horses. I hope you enjoy reading my blog entry and maybe learn a thing or two, especially if you are thinking about doing something around the beautiful species of horses.

Facts:

First of all, I will explain some top facts that I have learnt throughout my period of being around horses. My first fact is that you HAVE to pay great attention to any staff on the yard as you might not know what a horse's personality is and it could be dangerous, which none of us want. Another fact is that the greatest height of a PONY is 14.2 hands high [58 inches, 147 cm] and a HORSE is anything above that. Fact three is that you shouldn't  go into places if you don't know what it is or haven't been asked to go into it. If you have a fall make sure to get a new helmet as the other one could be damaged.

Equestrian equipment:

If you are interested in horse riding you should read this, as this is about the equipment we ask you to wear around the yard and when riding. This is in case you have a fall to protect yourself from getting badly hurt. First of all, the most important piece of equipment is a HORSE RIDING HELMET and it can't be any other as this helmet is made out of special materials that protect the head. The next one is riding boots / wellies or ankle boots. No shoes or trainers can be worn or you wouldn't be allowed to ride. Next are gloves. Now you don't have to wear these but they are reccomended as it will protect the hands if a horse decides to pull hard on the reins, and it helps the grip. Another final one is a body protecter. Again this is recommended but is optional. It  will do what its name says so it is better to wear one.

Yard rules :

1.Firstly, don't run in the yard as you could trip and scare horses.

2.Secondly, don't walk behind any horse as it could kick or spook at any time.

3.Thirdly, when grooming / brushing a horse if you're doing it to the tail, stand to the side as they might kick out and you never know when.

4.Rule number four, don't shout as horses have very sensitive hearing.

5.Number five, don't do things by yourself without permission. For example, don't feed without permission or being asked to do so.

6.Finally, always check a girth before mounting as the saddle may slip.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and maybe you have learnt a thing or two. Possibly you could join this friendly sport as it is good for making friends and keeps you fit and healthy.

Thanks for reading.
