On the 27 of April everyone class talked about E-Safety,how to be safe online and discussed a lot of other topics, KS 1 did about Password and KS2 did about online safety,here is a list about what each class did.
Our early years class, Sunshine, talked about dangers of viruses on games on the iPad's.
In Key Stage 1 , the pupils talked about different passwords and how to make stronger ones, watched video about password ideas,then they made up some bad and good passwords and put them in order from bad to good. They also looked at understanding of not giving out personal information for example their name,address,telephone number and their school.
In Key Stage 2, they talked about what do they use the internet for. Described the dangers of buying online,fake pictures,not getting the right thing they order.
The pupils went around the classroom and asked 'Things that they do need on a computer and things that they don't, their answers were very good! They asked the pupils 'What is the Internet and what can it do, how it is useful and discussed don't talk to strangers online.We also talked about pupil's point of view of E-Safety by discussing how dangerous it is online and talked about stories of people online who got hurt. People shared their Experiences of their issues online. Privacy settings are vital.
