Science Fair at Red Rose

Last Wednesday, 11th March, the year 5 and year 6 children put on a fantastic science fair for Galaxy, Armstrong and Apollo, who are our brilliant year 3 and 4 children. In our amazing science fair, we had many experiments including - How to separate sand and salt, if different aged children had more or less sensitive taste buds, the testing of Isaac Newton's colour spectrum and many more fabulous experiments.

Our year 5 and 6 children did a brilliant job preparing for the science fair and amazingly they did it all by themselves in groups at home. Mr Ross, our fabulous science teacher, set this task, in order to challenge us and show the lower Key Stage 2 children just how much science can be part of some things you didn't even know!

All in all it was an amazing morning and I know that we all hope that some of the children will be inspired by all of the learning we have done in our great classes!
