Well, now it is 2018 and the Christmas season has passed, it has been interesting to reflect on the Nativity season that we had at Red Rose.
We had great performances by our Sunshine and Sunbeam classes with lots of sheep, shepherds, kings and all the other characters that make up the Christmas story. Then our Key stage 1 classes, Moonlight, Rainbow and Starlight, used the Christmas Baubles to tell the story - with some truly lovely singing both collectively and individually.
Our Key Stage 2 pupils, at the local church, sang songs from around the world and explained how different customs and traditions were carried out in places like Poland, Malawi, Ireland, China, Australia and the United States of America. The church was packed and full of beautiful singing.
What a lovely and memorable Nativity season we had. Now, what will 2018 bring to Red Rose?
