Year 6 SATs and PE!

2018 - PE for Year 6 was on the first day back!

Personally, I think that is the best way to start the new year. To start 2018, we got a new PE coach, - Mr. Curry - I really enjoyed the first lesson and most others did too. It was really tiring though! The first lesson we had with Mr. Curry was a circuit lesson finishing with a tiring, eventful game of tug of war. We have got a very short ( and stressful ) half term as we are closing in on S.A.T.S! As S.A.T.S is looming over the top of us it will make PE seem as if it is nothing but we are determined to keep it fun and unique!

The PE circuit varied from press ups to sprints and many more some were more tiring than others, though. We were in groups of 2 - 4 and rotated every 1 or 2 minutes. Quite a few of the activities had not been done by the 2017 - 2018 Year 6’s ( it could have just been me who hadn't done them before ). The tug of war was right at the end and was only just squeezed in! The class was split in two and took either end of the rope one side was doing really well then Mrs. Jennings joined in! The other team took the lead… then an unsuspected guest joined in Mrs. Taylor!

Once Mrs. Taylor joined in, her team won almost instantly!
