Beat the streets
On 15th of March, a person from Beat the streets (BTS) came into our school and gave us a special assembly. BTS' goal is to get more people outside, so that you can walk, cycle, scooter or run. Everyone is invited! Some schools around Chester-Le-Street have been chosen to participate in this event. Our school can receive up to £400 in Decathlon vouchers! You will get a card and a little key-ring to get points. Beat boxes are placed all around Chester-Le-Street. Try and find as many as you can!
All you have to do is tap - a light will flash on the box and make a noise. To get 10 points you have to go to two boxes. - you can't do it two times at one box! If they find you cheating you will get disqualified and loose all of your points.

You can win prizes such as: Highlighter,water bottle, hedgehog and a bag! Your prizes will be delivered to your school and given to you by your teacher. This event starts on 29 March and ends on the 17 May 2017. Good luck!
