What is school life like?

Wednesday 25th January 2017

Today, (in literacy) we wrote a 'Ship's Log', which was connected to our class book 'Kensuke's Kingdom'. We have recently been planning which events from the book we were going to put into it : such as going to Australia and the canaries.

"It was really good and I liked how it was set out."
                                                                   Eve- about literacy.

In maths we are learning how to convert metric to imperial lengths, masses and volumes - such as feet into metres and kilograms to pounds.

"Maths has been really good and we have learn't about converting between metric and imperial units- which is very useful to learn for every day life."
                                                      Priya- about Numeracy.

In the afternoon, (in science) we learned about 'the Law of Reflection' and did an experiment in the dark to test it. When we learned about it, we also had to learn about the 'Normal line' and the lines of incidence and reflection.

"Science is really good because you get to do lots of experiments. When you are doing it you understand what is being said clearly. Also, I really enjoy learning about our experiments."
                                                                                                                            Courtney- about Science.
